Our Next Meeting.  TheTursday, February 21st meeting will be at Bozard Ford Lincoln Mercury at 540 Prime Outlet Blvd.  They are our major sponsor for the Kingfish Challenge Tournament. They have a great facility and refreshments and snackes will be provided.  Social is at 6:30 & meeting at 7:30.

Our meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of the month except when there are other functions during the month.  Meetings are at the St. Augustine Shrine Club, 250 1st St. They have a very nice facility overlooking Moultrie Creek. They have adequate parking across from the building. IMPORTANT: To eliminate distractions, there will be no drinking at the bar while the Young Angler’s Club is meeting. You can buy your beverage at the bar and take it back to the general meeting room. Thanks. Please be considerate and turn off your cell phones or step outside to answer your calls during the meeting. Thanks. The Board meetings are listed on "Upcoming Events" in the column on the left. Members are welcomed to the Board meeting. 

Officers: The following are your club officers for 2011/2012: President – Donna Frantz, Vice-President – Chip Whitfield, Treasurer – Linda Manucy, Secretary – Stephanie Burt,  Directors – Joel Cunningham, Matt Morse, Richie Van Kirk, Rick Mackey, Robert Olsen, and Mike Colee  The Board operates the club’s business and is very important to the club.  You can still volunteer to Chair or serve on Committees. For you new members, this is an opportunity to get more involved in the club and how it operates.

Membership Info:  Membership year is June 1st thru May 31st.  Dues are $50.00. A membership includes a spouse or “significant other” and their dependent(s) under 18 years old.  To save time go to acgfa.com, click on “Membership” then “Click Here for a Membership Form”, fill in the information, print it and mail it or bring it with you to the meeting.

E-Mail Newsletter:  E-mail newsletters have been sent to all members who have a working e-mail address. If you receive the e-mailed version and rather have the mailed please let us know.  We want your feedback so please let us know if you want a hard copy mailed or the e-mail version.  We will take your comments at the meetings, by e-mail (editor@acgfa.com) or phone call to a board member or to me. Newsletter: The December 2011 Newsletter has been distributed and posted on this web-site. Click on "Current Newsletter" in the column on the left for the newsletter. The Newsletter no longer contains the Spread Sheets. The Spread Sheets for the Year-End Tournaments are found by clicking on Fishing Report & Year-end standings in the column at the left.

NOTE: There are 2 items in the column at the left "Fish Entry Card Preparation" which explains how to prepare the form and the responsibilities of the angler and "ACGFA Fish Information" which is a spread sheet that contains a picture of the fish, the ACGFA Category, Fed & State Regulations, ACGFA Minimum Weight, and which ACGFA Tournament Categories it counts. I hope these will help you when you prepare your Fish Entry Cards. More on that at the August Meeting. - Jim

The year-end tournament is
May 1st thru April 30th each year. Fishing Rules for 2011/2012 are posted on "11-12 Fishing Rules" and Awards for 10-11 are linked above in the left column.
