September 16, 2014 Meeting
Our Next Meeting: will be September 16th at the Shrine Club. Voting for next year’s Officers and Directors: will be conducted during this meeting and installation of the officers and board will be at the November meeting. The Board of Directors are President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary & 6 Directors. You will vote for the Officers and 5 Directors (Note: the outgoing President will serve as the 6th Director). You may submit nominations from the floor providing the person nominated is present and willing to accept the office. The Board operates the club’s business and is very important to the club. You can also volunteer to Chair or serve on Committees. For you new members, this is an opportunity to get more involved in the club and how it operates. If you would like to nominate someone or if you would like to volunteer for one on these positions contact the current secretary Stephanie at 904-669-0213. Members are welcomed to the Board meeting. The Board of Director’s meetings are listed on the address page of this newsletter.
Also, Jim Blalock will have a short class on Fishing Rules, Fish Card Preparation & Fish Species as they pertain to ACGFA. I will have several handouts which I think will help you correctly submit your fish catch. You can also save postage!
Since we are back at the Shrine Club, T-Shirt Sales, Raffle, $100 Drawing, Shrine Club Bar and Snacks will all be available.
Kid's Club is back like school! Come ready to make a cool fun craft. Miss Donna will be looking for you! Congratulations to all the winners at last month’s meeting.

I would like to thank all of the anglers that came out to fish the tournament, it was a great turn out and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Also, I would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped with the planning and execution of the tournament without each and everyone of you it would not have been successful.
We have already started the planning for the 2015 Ancient City Game Fish Challenge and hope to see each and everyone of you back next year. We had fun this year and will definately continue that next year.
