Our Next Meeting: There is No General Membership Meeting this month. The next meeting will be Tuesday, August 19th at the St Augustine Shrine Club, 250 1st St.  Our meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of each month unless notified otherwise.  The Shriners have a very nice facility overlooking Moultrie Creek.  They have adequate parking across from the building. Social 6:30 -  Meeting 7:30.

Last Month’s Meeting:  was the annual membership dinner and year-end awards. A complete list of awardsis listed on the Web-site.  Dinner was a Steak Cook-out, and, as you can see, you cooked your own rib-eye steak.  There were great appetizers and desserts, thanks to all who brought them.  If you missed it shame on you.  Many thanks to the volunteers who planned, bought the food, prepared the sides, decorated the Shrine Club, set up the grills and kitchen, cleaned-up, did the paperwork and the trophies, and made sure all of us enjoyed the party. It was a great event!

The best skit awards were won by the N 2 Deep” crew (Burres family) for their “fish on” skit. Runner Up award went to the “Triple Luck” crew (James, Linda & Donna) for their “fire you up” skit.  They each won $50 Gift Certificate to local restaurants. They were great.

I have lots of pictures (200+) of the Party and Awards.  If you want copies or a disk let me know.  I am making a music slide show that I will share with those who want it. - Jim
