Club,
MEETING
INFORMATION

The Spring
Cookout is April 15th which will be the General
Meeting for April. The food will be prepared by L&W Catering (Yum!!).
Club members are asked to bring a desert. Let us know what you are bringing when
you RSVP. Don't forget to RSVP at 904-827-1013 not later than April 8th.
E-mail Newsletter: We are going
to start e-mailing the newsletter very soon.
Each of you need to update or confirm your e-mail address where you want
the newsletter sent. You can do that at
the meeting or by e-mailing a message to editor@acgfa.com with that
information. We also need to know of those without a computer or e-mail access.
E-mailing the newsletter will save the club up to $2,400 per year in printing
and postage and that doesn’t count the
hours of folding, stapling, labeling and stamping the 170+ newsletters
each month.
Program: Last
month’s program was a fishing trivia quiz conducted by Joe Noda and Liana Chapman. After 10 questions and some spirited
discussions there were several members with perfect scores and a drawing was
held to determine the winner. James Manucy won and collected the
prize.
Snacks: Thanks go to David and Liana Chapman who provided the Fried
Chicken and great homemade Baked Beans with the trimmings. This month is the
Spring Cookout.
Raffle: David Chapman & Rick Emert had a great
raffle. rods & reels, knife set, life vests, etc. I did not get a list of the winners. This
month David & Rick will have
another great raffle
Membership Drawing: Ralph Wolfe (Shrine Club worker who
just became a member tonight) won the $200 drawing. It pays to attend the
meetings and parties. Be at the next meeting for the $100 drawing.
You must be present to win!
Club Shirts, Etc.:
Wil & Teeka are handling the T-shirts sales. They have
some great colors now. Let them know what you want and they will try to get
them for you.
